LG Settings Worth Changing
- ▸Use a wired connection: Settings → Network → Wired Connection (Ethernet). It is the single biggest fix for freezing.
- ▸If the TV gets sluggish after days of use, switch off Quick Start+ under General settings so the TV fully restarts when turned off.
- ▸Set the clock to automatic so the guide lines up with live programmes.
- ▸For sport, turn off heavy motion smoothing (TruMotion) if fast movement looks unnatural; this is personal preference.

Xtream Codes or M3U: Which Login to Use on LG
We can give you two kinds of login, and LG players differ in which they accept:
- ▸Xtream Codes (server URL, username, password): the player pulls live channels, movies, series, catch-up and the guide as separate sections. Use it whenever your app offers it.
- ▸M3U link: one long URL containing the channel list. It works in almost every player, including SS IPTV, but on-demand titles may appear as long lists and the guide may need a separate EPG link.
- ▸If an app asks for a MAC address, it is the player's own activation system; you still paste in our M3U link or Xtream details afterwards.
