Portal URL not working
Ensure you copied the full URL exactly as provided. No spaces before or after the URL.
MAC address needed
Some providers need your MAG box MAC address to activate. Find it in Settings → System Information → MAC address.
Channels not loading after reboot
Try a factory reset: Settings → System Settings → Factory Reset, then re-enter the portal URL.
Why MAG Boxes Work Differently
Most IPTV devices run an app such as IPTV Smarters or TiviMate, where you type a username and password. Infomir's MAG boxes are dedicated set-top boxes built around a portal: the box loads a web-based interface from a server address, and the server recognises your box by its MAC address. That design has clear upsides and a couple of quirks.
Upsides
Simple remote-driven interface, quick channel zapping, a wired Ethernet port on every model, and no app updates to manage. Older relatives often find a MAG box easier than a streaming stick.
Quirks
The line is locked to one MAC address, so you cannot move it to a new box without asking support. Older hardware lacks HEVC decoding, and you cannot sideload alternative players on Linux models.

Getting the Most From Your MAG Box
- Use the Ethernet port. Every MAG model has one, and a cable removes Wi-Fi drop-outs, the most common cause of stuttering on set-top boxes.
- Update the firmware. Settings, Software update pulls the latest Infomir build. Out-of-date firmware is behind many blank-portal problems.
- Set the right video mode. Under Video settings, match the output resolution and frame rate to your TV, and enable automatic frame-rate switching if your firmware offers it.
- Organise favourites. Press the favourites button while a channel is highlighted to build a short list for the household.
- Use the guide and catch-up. The portal includes an EPG; channels marked with an archive icon support catch-up TV.

Stuck on the loading screen
Usually a wrong portal URL or an unregistered MAC. Double-check the URL ends exactly as sent, then confirm with support that the MAC on the box matches the one on your line.
Picture but no sound on some channels
Open Audio settings and switch the digital output from passthrough to PCM, or the reverse, depending on your TV or soundbar.
Moved to a new MAG box
The portal will not recognise the new MAC. Send the new MAC address on WhatsApp so support can move your line.
Channels buffer at peak times
Switch to a cable connection, restart your router, and see the general checklist for a stuttering IPTV stream.

Does IPTV Free Trial work on a MAG box?
Yes. MAG boxes connect through a Stalker-style portal rather than an app login. Send us your box’s MAC address on WhatsApp, we link it to your line and send a portal URL, and you enter that URL in the box’s portal settings. After a reboot the channel list loads on the home screen.
Which MAG models are compatible?
Infomir’s Linux-based MAG range uses the same portal settings, from older MAG250 and MAG254 units through MAG322, MAG324, MAG420, MAG520 and MAG524. Older models such as the MAG250 cannot decode HEVC, so some high-bitrate and 4K streams will not play on them even when the portal connects.
Where do I find my MAG box MAC address?
It is printed on the sticker under the box and shown on screen under Settings, System information (or Status on newer firmware). Infomir MAC addresses usually start with 00:1A:79. Send it exactly as shown, because the portal only accepts the device whose MAC is registered.
Why is my MAG box not connecting to the portal?
Check the portal URL character by character, including the trailing slash, and confirm the MAC address you sent matches the box. Reboot after saving. If the box shows a blank or loading screen, update the firmware, then ask WhatsApp support to re-register the MAC.
Can I use the same line on a MAG box and another device?
Each device needs its own connection slot. If you want the MAG box in the lounge and a Fire TV Stick in the bedroom at the same time, choose a multi-device plan, which is discounted by 20% for two devices, 25% for three and 30% for four.
